Thursdays
7:00-8:30p Dance Styles of Egypt (dance, lecture & video) (All Levels)
There will be lots of dancing... ground your technique and possible fusion ambitions in an immersion of traditional Egyptian dance. Thursdays class continues what was done on Tuesdays.
8:30-9:30p Int/Adv Technique ~ Fusion Fun (Level 3, 4)
This class is really exciting. I hope to work with each dancer to push themselves toward a fusion of styles that speaks to them, giving them the tools, resources, feedback, and environment to help them create a partial or whole fusion choreography. Draw from any style or form. Learn HOW to fuse well, and how to better inform and deepen your exporation of what you're inspired by.

Shoshanna's Two Cents
In my happy little dream world, here are the classes I envision people taking at different levels:
- NEW BEGINNER: Mon & Wed from 5:30-7:30. Extra bonus classes would be Tues/Thurs 7-8:30pm
- BEG-INT: Mon/Wed 6:30-7:30, Tues/Thurs 7-8:30, and Wed 7:45-9:00.
- INTERMEDIATE: Tues/Thurs 7-8:30 and Wed 7:45-9:00. Tues/Thurs 8:30-9:30 = good challenge.
- ADVANCED: Tues/Thurs 7-8:30 and 8:30-9:30, plus Wed 7:45-9:00 for extra drilling.
- For all dancers: it's fine to come to classes that are "easier" than your level - it's really good to work more slowly and thoroughly on your technique, and smooth out any areas of difficulties you may have. Use your more broad experience level to deepen your connection to the basics.
- Also, it's fine to try a class that is "harder" than your level - just be aware of your current skills and make sure you challenge your mind but don't endanger your body. I won't be slowing the class or pausing to go over technique with you, but you're welcome to try out the movement.
